A fantastic weekend at a...

Liked: We arrived at Seawood House to be greeted by Peter, who we thought was the owner of the hotel but since found out he was the manager. Cannot express how charming and welcoming he was. He showed us to our beautiful room on the 2nd floor. The views were simply amazing the room exceptional clean. The bathroom was large and very very clean. The shower was really good. The bedroom was really lovely with lots of additional facilities like water, biscuits, tea and coffee replenished daily which was lovely. The room was hot on the first night but soon remedied by turning the radiator down. We dined the first night and the third night in the hotel dining room, again served by Peter. He is quite simply the nicest host we have ever met. Nothing is too much trouble. The food was exceptional and the service brilliant. The hotel has an honesty bar which is a nice touch and we drank a few beers out on the terrace, which was lovely. I cannot express how wonderful this hotel is and the service by Peter and the cook amazing. Thank you so much for a great holiday. We will definitely return.
Disliked: Nothing. There is nothing to dislike.

Perfect in every way with...

Liked: Amazing views. We booked a superior sea view room and it was superb. Everything as pictured/described, spacious with everything we needed for us and our dog. Gentleman on reception was fantastic - just the perfect level of friendliness and assistance. The terrace is just lovely and with the little path taking you to the cliff railway/town centre with a couple of minutes, the location was perfect for us whether you wanted to be in Lynton or Lynmouth. I would absolutely book this hotel again without hesitation.

Weekend in Lynton

Liked: Great weekend away at Seawood House Hotel, superb location for Lynton & Lynmouth.Roger was superb host and explained about the honesty bar, kitchen and lounge that we could use.Even had the option of a hot tub if required, although we didn’t bring and swimwear.Room was on 2nd floor and was comfortable.Breakfast was a choice of juices, fresh fruit, pastries, cooked breakfast or eggs benedict/ egg royale. Eggs were lovely with dark yokes. We’d recommend anyone to stay and enjoy this hotel.

A fabulous stay, with a...

Liked: Beautiful property with wonderful views. Sitting on the terrace with a cold beer in the sun whilst staring at the sea was amazing. Hot tub was a delight and again what a view. Everywhere was clean and tidy and it was fantastic to be able to go in the communal kitchen and grab a beer. Peter was a wonderful host and couldn't do enough for us. A good breakfast with plenty of choice to start your day.
