Liked: Location and food was good
Disliked: Room was to small bed stuck up the wall meaning having to climb up and down the bed to get in and out without disturbing other half. Bathroom well what can I say it looked like you went into a wardrobe it was terrible more like a single room pillows very flat. Room quite depressing way to small and claustrophobic. Worst place I have ever stayed.

Liked: Served the purpose of being so close to the iconic Landmark which is JOHN O GROATS post etc
Disliked: For somewhere that Clearly is in demand late winter early spring, as well as the rest of the year, We were very disappointed at how tired our room was, stained sheets , what appeared to be leaking U bend on toilet but now not sure as unable to turn on radiators, so whole twin room, double and a single, room 6…. Extremely cold!!! Condensation running off toilet gatherer/water waiter.Skirting boards falling off.Bathroom sink was filthy, whilst I enjoy cleaning at home I put on rubber gloves for this bad boy, someone here needs to go to Specsavers.I’m Scottish and have a generally high level of cold but that wasn’t pleasant at all.Please don’t arrest me for hatred as this isn’t the case, an honest opinion FIRST MINISTER

For value and location this...

Liked: Both my partner and me are disabled she walks with sticks and I need to be on mobile oxgen. We asked if they had a ground floor room.... they did but it was in the building across the road. Which they where happy to open up for our use only. We decided we could manage the small flight of stairs in the main hotel instead. The room was a wee bit dated but very clean and equally adequate with tea and coffee a beautiful clean shower with good pressure. The evening meal was excellent home cooked very freindly staff. And I finished my evening with a very large malt of which they had a large stock plus a beautifully poured cool beer.The next morning was breakfast included in the price ... full cooked fresh produce breakfast with tea or coffee.... and again wonderful staff
Disliked: Honestly the only thing was we needed to ask for extra pillows which they provided no problem.

Liked: The staff were good. Room was a little cold. We were unlucky to have some very noisy guests in adjacent rooms.
Disliked: Cold room. Noisy guests (maybe not hotels fault!)
