Very good

Terrible the noise was horrendous

Liked: Breakfast good,
Disliked: We travelled for a funeral and decided that would stay in a quality hotel, we cannot fault the standard of hotel, staff or food, however unfortunately our visit fell at the same time as Strathclyde University Pharmacist Graduation Prom. If we had known this we would have booked another hotel. The noise was terrible banging doors, noisy neighbours screaming and shouting all night. The porters were busy all night the worst was we never got any sleep and had to travel a long way back to Wales after about only a couple of hours sleep.

Very good

Liked: I thought the Hotel in general was lovely, nice Views and good to have the Beach. The Restaurant in the Hotel was amazing, would definitely recommend visiting it, Prices were actually pretty good for the quality and portion sizes. Would also like to point out it was extremely busy and Service was a bit slow but I genuinely think it was due to maybe not enough Staff but Waiters we had looking after our Table were amazing and very apologetic. There was some Customers who were quite rude to them which was uncalled for as they were Working extremely hard to ensure they gave a good level of Service. Breakfast was also really good and plenty of choice. The we had was also very Clean and spacious, we also had a bit of a Sea View, my room wasn’t in the actual main hotel but was still okay. Plenty of Parking Spaces.
Disliked: The Room we had was quite Dated, I just feel for the way the Hotel looks on the outside, I was expecting quite a modern Style of room.

Disliked: Breakfast. Premier Inn have better breakfast!

Nice location but poor eating...

Liked: Room was spacious, gym and swim was lovely, location was good, staff were friendly.
Disliked: TV’s were very limited, poor quality, dated and required retuning whilst we were guests. Food was not really good- despite asking for a well cooked breakfast it seemed that staff could only cook one side of the food. We had one dinner at the hotel and could not recommend it - it was luke warm and floating in grease - waiting staff quickly replaced it when asked.

Amazing location and staff

Liked: Location was beautiful by the sea.Staff were amazing, extremely professional, courteous and helpful.
Disliked: Bedroom was big but a bit dated albeit, likely to be renovated. Issue was the bed, as two singles pushed together which one was slightly higher than the other and a hard ridge in it.

Liked: Room was big, and very comfortable. Spa and gym facilities excellent.
Disliked: Orangery was closed for refurbishment - so dining room very busy. All beer taps in dining room were off - due to cooler system not working. Very limited choice of where we could sit to relax and have a drink at night, due to dining room being only place available. When dining (for dinner) outside on patio on first night, we had to pay in advance for our meal and then separately in advance for a drink - despite being residents. Starter and main course brought within a minute of each other ?! Wedding reception held on Saturday night - so pretty noisy in bedroom for a while.
