Liked: Location, short walk to beach. Outdoor restrooms available to change if you arrive early before check in. Room was clean and seemed recently updated. AC unit was great, kept room cool and ran continuously without shutting off when temp was reached which is a plus if you need white noise to sleep. Balcony was on north side of the building but still had great view of the ocean. Staff friendly.
Disliked: Coffee machine in lobby not working and machine in room appeared moldy, but if you don’t want to move your vehicle it’s a 15 minute walk to closest Dunkin. Only one small ice machine for the whole hotel located in lobby-doesn’t even fill a small cooler. Poor water pressure in shower. Found first floor emergency exit locked, couldn’t get out if there was an actual emergency. Told desk person and she replied manager must forget to unlock it. Should be unlocked 24-7. Charged $20 daily parking fee. Don’t know if that is the Hotel or OC in general. Only found parking on property 1 day, parked on street the rest which made it easier to load unload our beach gear, but wouldn’t refund when asked.
