Clean, friendly and close to...

Liked: Clean and well maintained older property. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location within walking distance of the ferry to Martha's Vineyard makes this a great value.

Overall good basic accommodation.

Liked: An excellent location for ferry to Nantucket and/or Martha's Vineyard. Just a short walk to the shops. Very comfortable beds and a good shower. The manager kindly allowed us to leave our bags in reception after check-out until the afternoon while we went on a wonderful whale watching trip.
Disliked: Strong smell of cleaning products in the room which remained despite opening windows. Very basic kitchen facilities one out of two rings on hob didn't work but we managed fine as we ate out. Very thick dust on wall above bedside light and inside the light itself. People swearing and drinking both evenings in the lovely park just a few metres from our bedroom window made us feel worried but it stopped and we slept well. We realise that this has nothing to do with the hotel but in future we wouldn't return to that area.

Great location and a lovely...

Liked: I highly recommend this hotel. The location is superb, 30 seconds to a small store selling all the essentials, 2 mins to the harbour with a couple of seafood restaurants and a 1 minute walk to the Main Street with restaurants, a tap room etc. Above all, the room was large with a small kitchenette, fridge etc.and felt very cosy. The staff/ owners were very friendly and helpful, parking was right outside. I would definitely stay again!
Disliked: There really isn’t anything I can think of…..
