Depressing.
Disliked: This was my second stay at this hotel. Parts of the hotel near our room appeared dilapidated with construction materials lying around outside. Inside the room there is plenty of dust on the shelving where one is expected to store suitcases. The room itself was damp and it took a couple of days to warm it up. The bed has the usual thin Hilton covers, so that's not much help. Travelers should avoid these two buildings, numbers 1 and 2, with room numbers 100+ and 200+ and especially the upper floors with numbers 121+ and 221+ since they are exposed to the continuous noise from traffic on Highway 1. The room is equipped with $5 water but I suggest you take the short walk across the road to a well-stocked Safeway or just drink the tap water, which is fine. Remember to add $15 for parking in the lot which the hotel states has ample parking! All in all, a repeat of the depressing experience I remember from last time.

The rooms were great.
Liked: The check in attendant (male) was rude to us, did not feel welcome.

Won't stay here again!
Liked: We were given the wrong room, and due to the hotel struggling with a new computer system, and lack of manager on site, we had to wait 2 hours to get the room that we paid for. You were expected to pay 15 dollars extra for parking at this hotel. When manager finally arrived he got us into our room and did wave parking fees, but I feel that this could have been done much earlier. As an older person with some health issues, it was quite stressful for me to have to wait 2 hours before getting my room. We were told that we could wait in other room given, but couldn't sit on beds or leave bathrooms looking used. There were 3 of us and I believe one chair in room. For price we payed, I expected a much better experience. To add insult to injury, there was a large, blonde wad of hair on the wall of the shower in room that we were finally given. Oh, and if you want to drink bottled water in room, they are 5 dollars each! Btw, while we waited in the lobby for our room, there were at least 4 other people that were having issues with their rooms as well.

Nightmare, I need a vacation...
Liked: The location was good!
Disliked: This hotel needs an upgrade, I stay in Hiltons because you want a consistent room that you know is clean and your able to sleep and feel comfortable! That did not happen here! The air conditioning did not work, it would go on and off making loud sounds we could NOT sleep at all! The room smelled of mold no fan could not leave the window open because it was not safe! I will not stay in this hotel again! And I'm thinking of not staying in any Hiltons again!
