Liked: The property was well appointed with a beautiful ocean view. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable.The continental breakfast was yummy.

Relaxing getaway with great hosts.

Liked: Had the best weekend stay in Kiama. Robyn and John were wonderful hosts. The property has access to the Kiama coastal walk path with a beautiful walk to the beach or the town center. The room was very clean and comfortable. Loved my stay.

Liked: The location was fantastic directly overlooking the ocean, headland and beach. Robyn and John were most welcoming, the room was very clean and fresh, and Robyn prepared a lovely breakfast each morning.

Worst host experience we've ever...

Liked: It was almost a really nice stay... Robyn was absolutely lovely and I suspect based from the other reviews is usually the one managing the guests. The three dogs were also super friendly.
Disliked: We made the mistake of not seeing the no children policy, so we arrived with our newborn. When entering the property I mentioned to Robyn we'd be home early from a wedding that night as we have a newborn with us. At the time she didn't tell us they have a no children policy, she was super polite and showed me in. Everything was great for the next 36 hours, then the next night just after 9pm I knocked on their door to ask if they could put their TV a bit softer as the noise was travelling into our room (it wasn't disturbing our baby, it was just disturbing us). I knocked twice, and was super polite. Then John came downstairs and blew up at me and my wife telling us we are disturbing them by knocking on the door, that if we don’t like the television noise through the wall that we can pack our bags and leave, accused us of sneaking our baby in, and a bunch of other irrational things. I calmly diffused the situation because our baby was already asleep and we had nowhere else to stay that night.After this incident I didn't sleep very well and so decided to cut our holiday short and leave first thing in the morning. As we quietly packed the car at 6am John stormed out to the road and launched into abuse telling us we are entitled Sydney brats. I asked him to keep a distance because he was enraged and coming at me yelling. He then circles me around my car and gets to within a half a meter, I put my hands up expecting him to try shove me or throw a punch, fortunately neither come just a lot of physical intimidation. The whole time he is rambling, and I’m biting my lip because I don’t want to get in a physical alteration with a 70 year old man. We left shocked at his behaviour and amazed how things escalated so unnecessarily.

Liked: Each morning our breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Robyn has thought of everything & the detail to each little thing on our tray was just delightful!It was fresh & very tasty. The location was incredible. The view was to die for & so relaxing. Convenient to everything around us. Lovely walks & the weather was lovely too. We loved seeing the Blowholes & just sitting with a picnic on the headland. We have already re-booked!!
Disliked: coming home!!! :(we will definitely be returning !! Robyn & John are the best hosts & we loved our experience at Sea whispers
