Until General Management changes..We won’t...

Liked: Convince, Great Pool, Room was clean and cute.
Disliked: Pool closes at 8pm and opens at 9am. When asked why they changed the hours of the pool. As they were listed different on the website at booking Was snapped at by Joey the General Manager stating “I don’t have to open the pool at all! How about that” Joey the General Management was only friendly at times. Many snide comments made to several guests. He was the talk of the pool due to his rudeness by every guest in the pool daily. He opened the pool one morning at 9 and a guest had been waiting to take a swim before making their long trek home and when the guest asked if he could swim quick the GM Joey snapped and said “The sign says 9 O’Clock is when the pool opens!” So the guest finally was happy that they opened the pool at 9am only to be told..”You can’t swim now. We need to add our chemicals and you have to wait at least 30 minutes!”We had major problems with the water being shut off for 3.5 hours when told it would be about 1/2 hour. After asking Joey what is his plan was now as the plumbers left us for 2 hours (apparently to get parts) and nobody could use the bathrooms,shower etc. he simply stated “Things happen!” “What Plan?” So he had zero plan for his guests. He didn’t care. When the plumbers returnedI as a guest of the hotel asked the plumbers what’s happening,how much longer they didn’t have a clue so one of the workers called the owner of the plumbing company so all the guests 15-20 people.. could get an answer on when we could shower and go to the bathroom! It was ridiculous! They did it in the late morning early afternoon hours! A board with nails sticking out was left for hours and overnight like pictured below in a walkway where kids were walking and playing. The Maintenance Guy was spectacular! He was so helpful and was busting his butt in the heat.. fixing steps after a terrible fall, (It was reported) The cone was placed after the fall… Doors weren’t working and wouldn’t lock.. he jumped right in to fix it. He was all over it immediately!

Weekend trip to revisit some...

Liked: Pool was great! Property was Clean and attractive.Room very clean. Bed comfortable.
Disliked: None

Overall it was an enjoyable...

Liked: The location it was a short walk from the beach
Disliked: Housekeeping never came to our room. The 2 trash cans provided were small and overfilled by day 2. We had also got pizza delivered and it was sitting in our room for 3 days since we had nowhere else to throw it away. When I mentioned that house keeping perhaps skipped our room he said that they come by at 10AM. We stayed there for 3 days and not once did housekeeping come. The blankets provided were towel-like and a bit irritating on the skin. Wifi was poor.

Will not be able to...

Liked: The room was quirky and cool
Disliked: We had a terrible neighbour and he was absuove and loud to his partner. We heard everything and could not sleep. It was very upsetting and not fair.

Exceptional

Liked: Great room, love the full size appliances. Joe, was great. We will be back for two weeks next June or July.
Disliked: Everything was awesome.

Liked: The room was nice !!. The pool but it's nice and clean !!
Disliked: I didn't like the fact that you couldn't have a can or a plastic cup around the pool
