Lovely hostess with a deteriorating...

Liked: The hostess was sweet and the bed was comfortable, and that’s about it.
Disliked: First, the driveway was not marked well, and it was hard to find. The presentation of the house was dismal. The front garden was bedraggled and dried out. I almost turned around before I opened my car door, but the hostess emerged and greeted me kindly, so we went to look at the room, which is a freestanding apartment.This was approached by a series of cinderblock and rock paths and stairs, which were extremely uneven. Likewise, the wooden stairs climbing to the back porch were of differing heights, and the handrail was difficult to reach for the first couple of steps. In short, this place is not accommodating to anyone with any kind of mobility issues. The hostess clearly knew this, as she was hovering and offering help all the way into the apartment. The apartment was fine; clean, but very eccentrically decorated, with an apparent attempt to achieve a quaint ambience. The garden view was a deteriorating backyard with old furniture stashed in inconspicuous spots. It all seems as though what might have been pretty once has gone to seed.Monique, the hostess, was almost intrusive in her concern that I would hurt myself returning to the apartment after dark, and when taking my belongings to and from the car. While I appreciated her help, she acted as if I were a toddling elder, rather than a 77-year-old woman who needed assistance with her suitcase.

I loved it!

Liked: Beautiful place, very clean, and fully stocked. Beautiful property
Disliked: If you aren't driving the bus is a far walk,bu that's the only issue.

Good

Liked: The property was whimsical and a delight with fruit trees and a lovely scene out our bedroom door. The bed was very firm, which my husband appreciated. The host was very accommodating and friendly. The room was private and secluded which we appreciated. The location was close to a nice variety of restaurants.
Disliked: I would recommend a fan as the room was warm and although the windows were open there was no air flow. The bed was a bit firm for my taste.

Charming, quiet, and comfortable.

Liked: Quirky decor, a large bathroom, a comfy bed, and a nearby creek made this a really wonderful place to stay.
Disliked: The one drawback for us was that my spouse was too hot at night and couldn't sleep. Eventually she figured out that if she opened the hallway door that connected the bedroom with the bathroom, the room cooled down. If we had stayed more than one night, it would not have been such an issue. Outside of that one thing we really enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional

Definitely will return when in...

Liked: Super Quiet, Well supplied hosts were never in the way but always available.
Disliked: Maybe an overhead lite? Otherwise everything was there.

Excellent experience during an emergency....

Liked: We had asked for privacy due to this being an emergency. They provided food for breakfasts and snacks and left us alone. The only time we saw them they just were encouraging. I would highly recommend
Disliked: Nothing!

More than met our needs...

Liked: Loved the location on the creek, the accessibility to our friends and family in nearby neighborhood, having a kitchenette and comfortable bed, separate entrance to accomodations. Didn't spend much time there as were visiting friends and family.

Liked: We didn’t stay as soon as we pulled up we left the outside looked like a dump very scary unkept doesn’t look like the photo on booking .com
