Disliked: Traffic quite noisy through the night, seemed to be a busy road - it was very warm so had the window open. May be much better when window closed.

Exceptional

Liked: Check in was super easy. We had dinner at the pub and it was excellent. Beds were very comfy and the showers and room were newly done.

Liked: Super friendly staff, very kind to my mum.Good food, reasonably priced. Friendly comfy bar.
Disliked: Better communication about how the hotel worked and that we would not be able to access public areas outside of licensing hours would gave helped, but this was made up for by a wonderful, thoughtful manageress. Not enough parking at weekends

Liked: Beautifully decorated. Clean. Friendly staff. The veggie breakfast provided. Slept well.
Disliked: Coffee could have been fresher and warmer. Little choice for breakfast. We had to pay extra (£10.95pp) because we booked through booking.com. No muesli, berries or soft fruits.

Liked: Nice cooked breakfast. Rooms are comfortable, modern and well appointed.
Disliked: Rooms were too warm with windows closed and quite noisy from road noise with windows open.
