Comfortable and quiet.

Liked: Easy access to the motorway and very quiet. Very friendly staff, easy check in and out. Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: Only a minor dislike. Having breakfast in our room, we didn’t fancy the foyer either as it looked a bit cramped.

Liked: Excellent breakfast - they even had kippers or haddock on the menu
Disliked: i don’t particularly like showers above baths as I am scared of slipping when climbing in and out but they did have a non slip mat for the bath which helped

Liked: Friendly welcome. Room was comfortable although decor was dated. The loby area was too small to enjoy breakfast, so rather than eat in the room we opted to eat at a table outside in the lovely weather overlooking the surrounding countryside. The breakfast was extremely good.
Disliked: The options for dinner or evening snacks were not obvious; hotel staff could have done more on our arrival to sell what was available by offering to show us a menu.

Liked: Everything was lovely. The history of the building is so cool. Lovely countryside surroundings and quaint dining room with only 5 tables. The bed was so comfy, I felt like it was cuddling me. We loved the home cooked food and the excellent breakfast

Liked: The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and extremely efficient.
Disliked: Bed was a tiny bit firm for my taste but I had a good nights sleep nevertheless.
