Liked: This hotel was absolutely delightful and surpassed all our expectations. The location was perfect, centrally situated and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Both the restaurant and hotel facilities were exceptional, and the staff truly made our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for, as if we were visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. Every team member we encountered was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assist with our questions and requests.

Liked: The location, the staff, the bar, the amazing old building, were all really great. I didn’t eat at the Schoolhouse but it looked good.
Disliked: I have no complaints.

Superb

Liked: Comfortable bed, reasonably sized bedroom and bathroom. Excellent gastro pub part of the same building. Nice beer garden with trees for shade. Good breakfast. Easy to park.
Disliked: TV channels a bit limited.

Liked: Breakfast was great , we had drink in bar it was a lovely welcoming feel
Disliked: Poached eggs over cooked ( but still taste fine )

Liked: Great location. Easy walking distance to cafes, the city and if you don’t feel like walking there’s a bus stop nearby. The rooms are very spacious & quiet. Lovely helpful staff.
Disliked: Only complaint is that all the pillows in our room were lumpy & need replacing.

Disliked: Tiny room for the price, extremely expensive for the facilities you are given. The room was super hot with a very outdated aircon unit and tiny windows. The street was very loud and so having the windows wide open isn’t ideal but too hot not to.
