Relaxing tranquil

Liked: Grounds were lovely. Spa very nice. Staff excellent
Disliked: Our room was small for the price and so hot we could hardly sleep. The staff gave us two dams which helped but for the price I definitely expected air conditioning

Enjoyable stay slightly spoiled by...

Liked: The hotel is lovely and set in beautiful surroundings and has first class facilities. The spa is so relaxing to sit in.
Disliked: There was a large wedding taking place the day after our stay and many of the guests were booked in to the hotel for pre-wedding events as they were from overseas. This made the hotel very noisy and busy and did affect the service level of the staff. We struggled to get a seat in the bar for dinner in the evening so much so that the staff let us have our food in the Whisky and Gin room. The staff were great however under a lot of pressure.
