Excellent

Liked: Fantastic location and views. Very clean and comfortable. Good value.
Disliked: Mirror in the room (outside the bathroom) would have been good.

Liked: Sitting at the window and doing a bit of people watching having our early morning coffee. Location was great.
Disliked: Reception was very busy - only one receptionist on booking in the whole place at 2pm

A pleasant enjoyable short stay...

Liked: The hotel has a great location to the sea front and downtown Napier with all the restaurants, cafes and bars. The room was very large with an adequate clean bathroom. And a secure overnight free car park area.
Disliked: In this day and age, a bath with a shower in a hotel is antique in my opinion and I'd rather see a larger shower area.

Liked: The receptionist that checked me in was super friendly. She engaged in conversation and was really great to deal with. I checked in quite late like 830pm on the Tuesday night if that helps you understand who it was. Great customer service from her.
Disliked: There isn’t really anywhere to sit in reception other than go into the bar restaurant area. The place is great and I’ll definitely stay again but it would be nice when waiting for an uber or something if there were seating.

Fab location

Liked: The location was fabulous and being able to use the gym was great. We also enjoyed the proximity to the pools.
Disliked: The hotel is a bit dated- the walls are paper thin- we could hear the neighbors talking and clapping with their TV, the doors were incredibly noisy so if you want a quiet hotel this is not the place.
