Budget service for premium fees

Liked: Check-in was smooth. The hotel facilities were decent.
Disliked: Scandic hotels have been downgrading their service, and it shows. No telephone in rooms. No fridge. No room amenities. In the bar I tried to catch the bartender's attention, but that proved difficult. How actively can you ignore a customer? Eventually I gave up. The bar was not even busy -- unless you consider 3 persons a 'busy' bar. I just wanted a beer, having not had anything to drink after my sports session, and it was hot and humid. When I tried to check out near 12AM, there was only one person in the reception, and I ended up having to queue for over half an hour to check out. It was hot and humid, and I was drenched in sweat -- not ideal for the conference presentation I had to give immediately after. Overall, I have to say that Scandic has been constantly downgrading their service standards while trying to continue to charge the same fees. Budget service for premium fees. I've had enough.

Liked: The only price was reasonable.
Disliked: Very far from the city center, no sidewalks, there’s a construction site nearby, and it’s very noisy.

Liked: It is a convenient location to the airport. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty on the breakfast buffet to choose from.
Disliked: It is a busy hotel. Breakfast room was extremely crowded.
