Disliked: During some hot days, the receptionist preferred to put us on the noisy side of the hotel on a high traffic street. Being forced to keep the windows open due to heat, we couldn't actually get much sleep.

Liked: Very nice hotel with helpful and pleasant staff. Nice breakfast with plenty of variety and good location.

Disappointing

Liked: Big room, big en-suite, great location
Disliked: No Aircon. Room was 27C or higher making if uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. We got two fans from reception, which didn't help much.Cleaning was weird. We requested room clean and by the final day of a four day stay had about 8-10 coffee cups accumulated, not taken away at any point. Also had to ask for toilet paper twice and towels once.

Comfortable stay in Bergen

Liked: Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly check-in staff. Very good breakfast, with plenty of choice for our vegetarian family. Easy walk to the historic harbour district. Close to restaurants and a supermarket.
Disliked: Short staircase to negotiate with suitcases when accessing the room.

great location but poor facilities

Liked: fab location as walkable with cases from light railway and 2 mins from ferry
Disliked: no air con. restaurant closed and didn’t tell us beforehand. no tea/coffee facilities - had to ask and apparently all the rooms share the kettles!! reception awkward about breakfast (as we were leaving before it started ) but restaurant ladies super nice and let us grab a croissant on the way past (that reception told us we would have to pay 100kr to do!!!! ) breakfast at 7am and not the advertised 6.30am (one of the reasons for booking as early departure)
