Disappointing

Overall very nice. Will recommend...

Liked: Excellent location. Good breakfast with very nice staff.
Disliked: Reception could have told us about the roof top terrace. We found out accidentally the night before departure.Surely we were visiting the hotel while the heatwave was present, bu it would be nice to have some kind of way to cool off the room a bit better. I understand that real AC may be technically very challenging, but at least the portable fan in the room coulbe a lot better. Current one is very noisy and do not move air practically at all. You can buy a lot better ones for 20€. We have one at home and we got it for 15€ at Lidl...

Very good

Liked: The hotel's location is great, central to many Stockholm attractions. The rooms have an old style charm. The breakfast spread is decent. We had a small mini-fridge, a decent wardrobe to hang clothes, a hair dryer and an iron in our room. (I'm not sure if all rooms have a mini-fridge though). We found the beds and pillows comfortable. The breakfast employee is really friendly and helpful! Our room had no airco but we had a fan in the room that helped a bit in the hot summer days we had in Stockholm. There is 24 hour reception, so that's nice. And there is an ice machine on the ground floor.
Disliked: The TV in the room was mounted on the wall facing the wall on the other side (and the bathroom door) and could not be turned in the direction of the bed or the sofa in the room. Not having an airco might be problematic for some. There was a sticky spill on the elevator floor which the staff didn't notice the whole day until I informed them, seems a bit strange no staff would notice that.

Liked: The buffet breakfast is one of the best we’ve had in Scandanavia. Hotel was very clean. Very nice roof terrace.
Disliked: The lobby area is just ok.

Perfect Hotel for sightseeing Gamla...

Liked: Although the room was rather small, the Hotel really is perfect for exploring the old town of Stockholm. Breatfast great and very friendly and competent staff! Would recommend it any time!

Disliked: Had to prebook our breakfast time because the breakfast room was so small

Very good location in the...

Liked: The location in the Old Town is great. Quite near to the Ferries for trip to the Vassa Museum as well as the walk around the town. Room was OK after we changed the initially allocated one.
Disliked: Car Parking is very expensive, it cost £150 to park for 2 days! And that in an open area with no security. The Breakfast room is very small and got quite crowded.

Fabulous long weekend spent in...

Liked: Antique charm in keeping with the old town. Great location, excellent range of breakfast choices & very friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Not much space in room to unpack suitcase - but not a big problem for a short stay & to be expected for an older hotel in the area.
