Scandic CH Gavle - 1st...

Liked: The location is central to all. Walking distance to train station. Busses outside the door. The room was large re accessible room. We didn't need this and found toilet hard to use. Some staff not helpful. Charge for lobby coffee?! No info about property at check-in and had to pay extra for early noon arrival but hotel was not full Tues night. Breakfast very busy. Need more coffee, juice, water stations. The did have food for purchase at front desk. Sandwiches, flatbread pizza (not so good).
Disliked: Room was right next to elevator but was directed to different elevator which was inconvenient then to get to room. Also was on a 3A level access only. You couldn't get to room if you got off at 3. Gym was mediocre. Didn't use sauna which was only open late in day to 10 pm. Co-ed.
