Saucy Mary's Hostel

Passable

Liked: Location is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. The kitchenette, use of fridge and small dining area are plus. It is a good pass through option on the cheaper side.
Disliked: The hostel is not very clean.

Value for money in Skye.

Liked: My friend and I were in a 4 bed dorm room which had an amazing view of the bridge. The rooms and linen were clean. The complex includes a restaurant and bar, which was very handy for getting breakfast before getting on our tour bus and dinner afterwards. Appreciated communication and help received from a staff member after we had checked out. In fact, all the staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I didn't like carrying my luggage up the stairs. I've now learnt my lesson and will pack lighter next time.The shower near the dorm my friend and I stayed in was very small, but adequate.

Overall is a good stay....

Liked: Saucy Mary's restaurant serves really excellent food, we had our two dinners and two breakfasts there. Parking is right in front of the hostel.
Disliked: Too far from the main centre of Syke island. Have to drive for almost 1.5 hours to get to the main town Portree.
