Liked: Quirky spacious with plenty of parking. friendly staff and good breakfast
Disliked: clarity when the bar was open

Disliked: Should say on website before booking that the bar is currently closed

Liked: I like how quirky it was.
Disliked: The whole room was dusty and needed a good clean! Dust gathered in the corner of the room that hasn’t been cleaned in months. I dropped something under a chair, so went looking for it - there was SO much dust and a fork there. The shower dribbled out and was either extremely hot or extremely cold - black mould was in all the corners of the shower. The bed was lumpy, fabric was itchy.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed...

Disliked: We had waste water coming into the bathroom which absolutely stank. The power cut out so we couldn’t use any power. Disgraceful hotel!

An ideal location for exploring...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent; and the location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the Suffolk coast The room was comfortable and stylish. The hotel was situated in large grounds with an impressive display of mature coniferous trees.
Disliked: There was a problem with the toilet flush. It took a long time to fill up with water. Also, the main shower was lukewarm, so we had to use the attachment in the bath.

Exceptional

Liked: Everything what I like in an hotel, interesting and different. if you like a Premier Inn you won’t like this ( must have been these people who gave negative comments)
Disliked: Nothing

Overnight stay for a cycling...

Liked: Great location, for a weekend away with my brother. Quick check in, large room, exellent breakfast.
Disliked: Wasny able to get an evening meal as the restaurant was closed, but plenty of choice in the area for alternatives.

Pleasant

Interesting stay at an unusual...

Liked: We chose to stay in the Yoxford area as we planned to visit local villages and Minsmere RSPB reserve over the weekend. We had read that the hotel was "quirky" which appealed to us. We stayed in the Minsmere room which was large, well furnished and equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Everywhere was very clean. Throughout the hotel the ornaments seemed very "colonial" but fitted the age of the property and were indeed quirky and interesting. The breakfast was very good indeed and the manager was friendly and helpful. A great overnight stay for us, celebrating a rather special birthday.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike in the hotel and grounds at all. The stairs may be a little tricky for some people, especially with lots of luggage, though doubtless help would be available.
