Upper management needs a lesson...
Liked: I had an issue with the internet, and it was ultimately my computer's fault, not the hotel's fault. However, the hotel had two wifis, one by the lobby that my computer connected to, and one in my room that my computer did not connect to. I asked if it was possible to change rooms to be closer to the wifi that worked. The woman owner was already annoyed because I'd asked for help more than once. She told me no, that they were larger rooms, and it was my computer's fault, not her internets fault. When I tried to explain that I booked the room for the internet, and one of the internets was working and the other wasn't, she got incredibly hostile towards me, borderline yelled at me, scolded me for blaming her internet, and adamantly repeated that she would not give me another room.
Disliked: It was bad enough to the point that I calmly told her she didn't have to get hostile with me and that I never pushed needing a new room, that I understand where she was coming from with that, I was just trying to find a solution for the internet. She said her son or husband would help me. Ultimately, I figured it out myself. I had to reset my network settings on my computer, and it worked, but to her son's credit, he did come to my room to help. He also checked me in and was incredibly courteous, patient, and nice.The issue here isn't my computer, though. It's how this woman was so quick to talk down to me. I wouldn't even talk to my friends the way she spoke to me, no less my customers--unless my customers were being rude, disruptive, or yelling, which I wasn't. I was just asking for help. I can't imagine how she would have reacted had I even slightly raised my voice or gotten a fraction as defensive as she did towards me. Ma'am, you seriously need to work on your customer service. You own a hotel. And after reading the reviews (which I should have done before I booked), it's clear I'm not the only one who feels this way. Your establishment doesn't make your guests feel comfortable. In fact, I've never had such a negative experience at a hotel. It was unnecessary and uncalled for. I didn't feel like a guest. I felt like a burden. Also, the bathroom towel was child-sized and the fridge smelled. On a positive note, your son was great, though. Very gracious, kind, and willing to help me, even when I was annoying with my questions. He exercised top-notch customer service. You could take a page out of his book. Good luck to you.

Liked: Nothing. I should have paid a higher price for a better motel.
Disliked: Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Comforter was full of cigarette burns. The replacement was not any better. If anything it was worse. The dead bolt didnt lock which made me feel unsafe. The mechanism to open the door with the key card did not work.

Liked: This was a low budget hotel but cost me the same as a night at a nicer one. Meanwhile they acted like six people was too many in a room with three double beds and a couch. They also knocked twice before checkout and asked if we'd heard dogs. Slummy.
Disliked: I couldn't believe how snoopy and rude they were. We just wanted a quiet place to sleep and they didn't manage that.

Nice for a budget motel
Liked: It was clean and had all the basics I needed, which included a mini frig. When I asked for an item, they immediately delivered. Price was way low so I was not expecting all the conveniences and that's just fine now and then. Helps me count my blessings.
Disliked: The surface/ finish of the tub was badly scarred, but it was clean. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. When this happens, I pull out my oversized "bed pillow" or some may say mattress pad. It solved that problem.

I wouldn’t recommend this place...
Liked: Room was clean and well appointed
Disliked: Room was renovated by inexperienced DIYer. There were no hangers to hang clothes, no facial tissues. Beautiful vanity for the sink but the holes cut into it for tissues was empty. Big gaps around the door so cold air flowed in. The train tracks were across the street and loud trains all night.

Quick stay, super dated hotel,...
Liked: The bed was comfortable and the TV worked.
Disliked: The online photo of the room looked nice, but it was a bait and switch. There was a very visible layer of dust over everything in the room as if it hadn't been used in months. The shower/tub looked like it was found in a dumpster, then painted white to hide the terrible shape it was in. There was a bowl over the smoke alarm (?) on the wall, which was odd. No toilet paper. Cheapest bath towels I've ever used. Like sandpaper fabric. The price was about 35/night too high for this property. Lots of cigarette butts right outside the doorway of the room. No outside trash cans.
