I would recommend this hostel...
Liked: I liked that I felt safe coming in and out. I liked the rooftop. Also, the bed wasn’t uncomfortable. I liked the single bathrooms sink.
Disliked: I didn’t like the fact that they had growing mold in the sealing of the single bathroom and not much ventilation.

Pleasant
Liked: Location is good, closer to the beach and bus stop right infront which will take you to the airport. Beautiful interior - lot of place to chill. Nice kitchen & terrace. Beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms. Restaurants around the hostel
Disliked: Entrance is weird, no sign of the hostel. Communication is not so great, check in after 6pm is self check in but they don't tell you that. I have US number so I called them and they send me sms for directions for self check in, so there is no staff after 6pm. Wifi doesn't work, no hot showers, it's ok for 1 night or two!

Fine for a night
Liked: Shower was running out of warm water, no charging option in the bed, wifi didn’t work, hard to find (no sign in front of the hostel)

Good
Liked: The common space is cozy and spacious. There are enough of shower rooms at the property. They have nice roof top.
Disliked: The windows in the room we've slept were very dirty. The host didn't walk us around the property, she just gave us a key and showed our beds.

Lovely Hostel
Liked: I liked the location. It was ideal to get from the airport and back for my short stay. I will be back when I stop through again.
Disliked: I had a top bunk on both dates and I had late arrival times. It felt weird waking others up to get up there.

Not worth it
Liked: To be honest the only nice thing about this place is the decor and style, and the rooftop. And I really liked the girls in my room but that's completely put of control of this hostel.
Disliked: Absolutely not worth the money. I get that this hostel is maybe one of the cheapest in San Juan, but the value you get is absolutely not worth it.NEGATIVES:1. As a start, the staff helpfulness is completely non existent. When asked questions they just seem to not know or be able to help with anything, prior and during the stay.2. On top of that, check in stops at (4pm?!) after which it's self check in. Apparently they send you instructions for that, which of course they failed to do with me. So I was standing in front of the building, at 10 pm, after a long flight, alone on the street at night, without internet, not being able to access. Thank God a man lend me his phone so I could call but this was completely unacceptable.3. A girl in the hostel had bedbugs, which is already diagusting enough, but their solution was to move her same mattress to another room. Coming back to my point of absolutely cluelessness and helplessness.4. The hostel is extremely noisy, you can hear the people outside like they're in the room. I was lucky that I stayed during the week and the people in my female dorm were super respectful but otherwise it would have been a terrible sleep. Only last night (thursday) people were loudly talking outside the room for which I had to ask to be quiet, to my surprise it was the volunteer herself. Leading by example...5. The Wifi didn't work for the entirety of my stay, who knows when that's gonna work. Their excuse: we have so many people it crashed. Well, there's my solution: get proper wifi. Some hospitality basics: WiFi is a must and not a nice-to-have.6. Beds are comfy but they only provide a super thing blanket (to call it somehow) and that's it.
