Budget spacious lodge in Great...

Liked: On Arrival the check-in was welcoming & efficient and we we're delighted at being offered the last (one of three) free parking spots out front.Triple room was large with 3 comfortable single beds and spacious room. Location in the west end is perfect many amazing restaurants. Walking distance to Ovo.
Disliked: Main bulbs in room and bathroom flashing like a disco. Bulb missing from 1 lamp. Sewage smell coming up drains in bathroom. Morning of check out 2 very LOUD Cleaners servicing early departures from 8amTalking and making lots of noise outside my door.At 9.30am one of them entered room to see if they could clean it, Whilst I was in bed.At 10 15 the phone rung twice no body speaking. At 10.25am The door knocked i thought it my freind to pick me up, surprised to see male receptionist informing me check out at 10.30am. I apologised and said I'd be five minutes to then see it wasn't actually 10.30 yet. In reception the atmosphere was tense as I sat with all belongings and explained i was waiting for my lift. After 5 mins he asked how long I'd be.Turns out he assumed I was waiting for someone still in my room.. (The 2 other guests in my room left at 7am).Check out morning was the opposite of the friendly experience on check in.

Great value for money

Liked: The location was great, the staff wre very friendly and helpful and the bed was very comfortable. I've never had a chandelier in my room before!
Disliked: The only thing that prevented me giving a 10 rating was that there were quite run down looking partsv(hall carpet etc), and the ensuite door stuck
