Located in the village of Woods Hole overlooking the harbor, this Cape Cod motel features an outdoor heated pool and free Wi-Fi. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard is just 5 minutes' walk away. Each guest room at the Sands of Time Motor Inn & Harbor House features a cable TV, private bathroom, and small seating area. The air-conditioned rooms are decorated in rich floral patterns with wood furnishings Guests at the Woods Hole Sands of Time can relax poolside on the sun terrace and enjoy the property's lush gardens. Free on-site parking is available for added convenience. Various dining options, including fresh seafood from Captain Kidd Restaurant and Shuckers World Famous Raw Oyster Bar are within 10 minutes' walk. Nobska Point beach and lighthouse are 3 minutes' drive away. The start of the Shining Sea Bikeway is opposite the Sands of Time. The Ocean Science Exhibit Center is 7 minutes' walk away. As per our deposit policy - we have charged the first night's stay to hold your room reservation. We offer a full refund (less a $20 cancelation fee) if the reservation is canceled at least 7 days prior to arrival. If cancelation is within 7 days of arrival it is nonrefundable.

Wonderful Place

Liked: Sands of Time is in an enviable location, overlooking the harbor, and within short walking distance of excellent restaurants, coffee shops and a couple of small shops. The weather was a bit rainy part of the time so we didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and inviting.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room or at least a way to heat water for a before sleeping cup of herbal tea. Otherwise, we liked everything else.
