Located in the village of Woods Hole overlooking the harbor, this Cape Cod motel features an outdoor heated pool and free Wi-Fi. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard is just 5 minutes' walk away. Each guest room at the Sands of Time Motor Inn & Harbor House features a cable TV, private bathroom, and small seating area. The air-conditioned rooms are decorated in rich floral patterns with wood furnishings Guests at the Woods Hole Sands of Time can relax poolside on the sun terrace and enjoy the property's lush gardens. Free on-site parking is available for added convenience. Various dining options, including fresh seafood from Captain Kidd Restaurant and Shuckers World Famous Raw Oyster Bar are within 10 minutes' walk. Nobska Point beach and lighthouse are 3 minutes' drive away. The start of the Shining Sea Bikeway is opposite the Sands of Time. The Ocean Science Exhibit Center is 7 minutes' walk away. As per our deposit policy - we have charged the first night's stay to hold your room reservation. We offer a full refund (less a $20 cancelation fee) if the reservation is canceled at least 7 days prior to arrival. If cancelation is within 7 days of arrival it is nonrefundable.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and and attentive. The location was perfect for what i needed to do in Woods Hole. My room was comfortable and attractively appointed. It was the perfect choice for my stay in Woods Hole.

Liked: Immaculate and clean. Reception on arrival and throughout our stay was genuinely warm and friendly pool and surrounding area perfect
Disliked: Some of the decor in the room was a tad dated and dark but it was immaculately clean so couldn't really fault that

I would definitely stay again...

Liked: The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfortable!! The location is near the Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and shops/restaurants (walking distance). Very quaint and lovely.

Very nice experience. Relaxing place.

Liked: The building was dated, yet immaculate. But that was expected hence the name. Location in relation to ferry and Wood's Hole was great. A 3-minute walk. Great dining and drinking spots in Wood 's Hole. Nice view of Harbor.The staff and owners were the nicest people. Very outgoing and attentive. Parking was great. Great place to stay for a day on the Vineyard.
Disliked: No complaints at all.
