Perfect location, friendly staff, beautiful...
Liked: The newly updated rooms are beautiful and the staff very friendly, especially "Jersey Mike." The beach was of course gorgeous, but it's quite far back from the water. It was difficult to find someone to rent the umbrella from at first, and then we didn't have any food service to our beach chairs as was suggested but we did enjoy eating at the beach restaurant - very good food and service. And, great drinks!
Disliked: We upgraded our room and had a view of dumpsters that were very loud and smelly. That took away from the "value" of our room. For the amount we paid, we expected not to have to deal with that.

Great stay overall!
Liked: The rooms are really clean and nicely maintained, and the location is top-notch—very convenient and central. The lobby staff was also very welcoming, which we appreciated.
Disliked: I wish the pool staff had been friendlier. At times, we felt unnoticed, and some interactions—particularly at the bar and the activity desk—were disappointing. The staff at the pool bar, in particular, didn’t come across as welcoming. My kids asked for some ice, and the response they received made them uncomfortable. It almost felt as though we shouldn’t have asked or paid for the service in the first place. After that, they didn’t want to return, which was frustrating—especially at a hotel that’s marketed as kid-friendly.We also didn’t have our room cleaned for two out of the three nights of our stay. We specifically requested cleaning before 11 a.m., but that didn’t happen. While I appreciate that the staff still tried to clean the room as late as 6 p.m., by that time we were already back in the room and it wasn’t convenient. The pool itself is smaller than expected, especially considering the size of the hotel, and you really feel that during high season—particularly in the morning. The pool staff does make an effort to free up sunbeds and prevent guests from reserving them without actually being there, but even by 10 a.m., around 100% of the sunbeds were already taken, often with no one in sight. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for its direct beach access, which was indeed a highlight—the beach is beautiful and well-maintained. However, we were surprised by the pricing for sunbeds: $40 for a single sunbed, $30 for a umbrella, and up to $120 for larger setups. Given the limited space and challenges at the pool, it would have been nice if basic beach access amenities were more accessible or included.

We wouldn’t stay here again
Liked: That we could have as many towels as we needed. And the location to the beach. Movie night
Disliked: The staff was friendly however very robotic and not personable. The beds were uncomfortable. The service was subpar for the price. The food wasn’t good.

You can't go wrong with...
Liked: This is a beautiful property right on award-winning Clearwater Beach. The area is still finalizing recovery efforts from the 2024 hurricanes, but everything at the property itself was back up and running. Staff were mostly knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is pet friendly, and we brought our dog with us. Our dog was gifted a small care package with treats, a pet bowl, and a branded pad for a bed. That was a really nice touch!
Disliked: Elevators were slow. Despite being a pet friendly hotel, the pet relief area was not conveniently located. While this is a gorgeous property and a premium is to be expected for a beachfront location, the nightly rate still felt pricey. Beach chairs were extra and sold out early (also to be expected, but still). The pet contract states that a staff member is required to come and walk through the room before checkout/departure. The front desk person knew nothing about this.
