Sandman Suites Surrey - Guildford

Superb

Liked: The room size exceeded my expectation, it is so spacious. I like the balcony. The free breakfast, though modest, is appreciated.
Disliked: It'd be better if there is vegan milk for coffee.

Disliked: Staff was not polite. No one picks the call at reception. Tried 5 different times during my stay, no one responded. Dishwasher leaked but no one took the call.

Fantastic!

Liked: Staff (Nita?) was an absolute sweetheart and a delight to work with. The rooms, even un-renovated, are beautiful. Very comfortable, feels like "home". I would genuinely live in one of these kitchen suites...
Disliked: My ONLY complaint; the pillows aren't terribly comfortable.

So so - under renovation...

Liked: Location. Alexa at the front desk was superb as usual. Suites are well sized and have full kitchen, on suite washer and dryer.
Disliked: Under renovation - very noisy at times. Front desk duty manager is too eager to get guests to check out quickly. Cleaning is well below expectation. Coffee table , kitchen counter in our room were dirty, no one wiped them down. Full of food and coffee stains, long hair still on the carpet. Many of the electrical outlets were not working.

Great stay - big suite...

Liked: Staff are fantastic. Good location close to the hwy and the Guildford mall. Having a fan and a washer and dryer in the suite is very helpful. Comfy beds.
