Disliked: this is the first time I’ve ever been charged $20 for arriving just one hour before check-in even though the room was clearly ready. Instead of welcoming a paying guest, the front desk made it feel like a cash grab

Superb

Liked: The rooms were awesome. We had an adjoining room with another family we were travelling with and it was perfect. We were on the 6th floor at the back of the building and the view was actually quite nice out that way. Loved that there were fridges and microwaves. We had a great stay and the kids loved the pool.
Disliked: The waterslide was suuuuuper fast. It's an enclosed one and quite dark inside. Not great for young kids or the faint of heart haha.

Disliked: The only tiny thing was, we didn’t have a waste basket in the main living area. There was only one in the bathroom that we shuffled too and from. It was small, we dealt with it.

Disliked: Restaurant was poorly staffed. We ended up leaving the property to go to a different place which was inconvenient. Tried calling front desk a couple of times but because they were busy they promised to call back but never did. All pillows very big.

Wonderful, would definitely stay again.

Sleek, modern and clean

Liked: Lovely and pool with slide which is good. Very clean. Water and coffee/ tea available in lobby area. Our king room was nice but smaller than two queen beds which had a bath as well as shower. King bedroom was adequate but no bath. Only one bathrobe in room but housekeeping brought another promptly. The robes were white and fluffy. The coffee and tea area was well lit and adequate. No water bottles. There is an expensive restaurant attached to the hotel - Chops.. it would have been nice to have complentary breakfast but there is an AW close by.We felt the bed could be firmer and felt it was saggy. Our rating would be higher if the bed was better. Strathcona museum was a nice place to visit.
