Liked: Service in hotel was very good; all the staff were very helpful.
Disliked: The heating in our room wasn't working. But when we informed the staff they quickly sorted it for us.

Comfortable, clean & pleasant stay...

Liked: Spacious inside, generally well kept, clean. Appreciated the tea/coffee facilities & large TV in the rooms. Lots of power sockets & lighting options.
Disliked: Shower did not drain optimally & there was no door so the floor required 2 towels to mop up the flood. Shower water temperature started to fluctuate towards the end of the shower (cold feed not effective?). Also a bit further away from the university than I’d have liked (with luggage).

Overpriced and under maintained

Liked: The location was amazing, we attended a concert in St James Park so couldn't have asked for a better location. The bar next door was great and the food was
Disliked: We paid an absolute fortune for our two night stay....I can only imagine because Sam Fender was playing across the street!The hotel was certainly not worth the price. The hotel looked lovely but was very tired and requires alot of maintenance. There was no water provided in the rooms, and we had to change rooms due to an electrical issue. The second room we were moved to had an awful smell from the carpet. I would definitely not return here.

Liked: Hotel was well situated for the Newcastle United ground but was a little expensive

Decent enough for the money

Good location, poor services.

Liked: Close to the stadium
Disliked: VERY poor breakfast service. Breakfast between 7.30-10.30, we arrived at 9.30 and they had ran out of pretty much everything. Despite numerous guests mentioning to staff about this, nothing was filled up. Some people managed to get individual eggs cooked for them and brought out, but most went without. Think for over £400 for the night this is very poor.
