An Aberdeen Weekend

Liked: A nice clean hotel with comfortable beds. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.The breakfast was reasonable.Excellent shower with a fairly decent pressure.
Disliked: The rooms did not have decent bright lights other than in the bathroom. No dressing table with mirror for my wife to get ready. Had to sit on the floor with wardrobe mirror and bathroom door open to get ready. Not great for an elderly person.For a Scottish venue it is extremely disappointing that potato scones, or oatcakes are not part of the breakfast.Did not sleep very well because of the noise outside. I know this is outwith the hotel's control. However, more could be done to improve the soundproofing of the rooms from external noise.All lights did not work in my room.

Disliked: Parking ain't great but due to location that is understandable and doesn't put a downer on our stay plus in summer air conditioning would be a plus
