Sandman Hotel Vancouver Downtown

We stayed at the Sandman as my family and I attended the Iron Maiden concert. It was a short walk to Rogers Centre with convenient restaurants in the area. The Shark Club Sports Bar was in the same building as the hotel with good food. The hotel service was courteous and excellent. Our room and beds were very clean and comfortable. The view on the ninth floor was amazing. Overall, a great stay!

Liked: Friendly, courteous service; comfortable bed and room; great view.
Disliked: No disappointment.

Liked: Our stay at Sandman on Georgia Street was excellent. We arrived early and were able to check in at that time, even though website states 4:00 o'clock. The room was small, but very clean, which makes up for alot. Also, because you it is right downtown we thought it would be noisy but were surprised it was not. A definite place to keep in mind for our next stay.

Staff friendly and very capable. Price was excellent. Very handy for Rogers Arena. Shark Club was fun. Hostess was attentive and friendly.

Liked: Room great. Location excellent.
Disliked: Elevator is slow and small.

I read mixed reviews so wasn't sure what to expect. Our room was in the south tower and was quite nice. The best aspect is definitely the location. We were able to walk to the show we attended. Also within walking distance of downtown stores.

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Toilet didn't work great.

My stay at the Sandman was just fine. The restaurant was a bit noisy and there wasn't room service available at dinner time. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything worked just fine. I will definitely stay again.
