Sandman Hotel & Suites Calgary West

We were treated very well. We had arrived early to check in and change for a wedding in the Wedding Pavilion. Earliest check in was established and Denny's was pointed out for a lunch. The room was excellent; all timelines were met for the wedding. We were only 4 minutes away from our destination. Doris and Ed.

Liked: The rooms were great - spacious for the five of us and our two little dogs - we slept well and enjoyed the very large bathroom - the outside was great for the dogs to go out for walks. Thank you for the kindness of the staff for helping me with everything and providing crayons and colouring for my niece. The location was perfect and it was nice to get to know Calgary a bit better as I am a long time Edmontonian. I think Calgary is a wonderful place and we would love to come back. We enjoyed the Calgary Zoo and will enjoy your new facility once renovations are complete. Thank You So much!

Great staff but don't stay...

Liked: The location was excellent.The staff were friendly and helpful.The food at Denny's nearby was excellent value and had great service.
Disliked: The noise from the air conditioning unit was so loud at times in the middle of the night it sounded as if there was a truck in the room.It seemed to run nearly every half hour and when our one was quiet you could hear other ones running.

Liked: The location was a bit hard because the entrance after the circle exit is very close and hard
Disliked: The room was hot because the AC was turning it’s self off every 10 minutes or less so it was very annoying
