Sandman Hotel Saskatoon

Enjoyed my stay, would definitely book at the Sandman again.

Liked: Cleanliness.

Overall the room was very clean and comfortable - the few staff we talked to were friendly. My only one little thing was that there could have been a couple of extra pillows on the bed. For a queen size bed four pillows would definitely make it more comfortable.

Clean, quiet, and convenient to the Credit Union Centre - $15 cab ride. Would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were attending a concert at the Credit Union Centre. Having the pool area open at 6 a.m. and a 12 checkout was wonderful, as we could enjoy the pool and not be rushed. Staff were friendly.

Disliked: Pool deck area quite small - very crowded.

Disliked: We slept in since we were on vacation and they wouldn’t clean our room past 10am, which wasn’t great since we stayed for a few days and slept in the entire time. The building was also under construction, which isn’t their fault. We had a view of the alley which wasn’t very nice.

Liked: This Sandman location has always provided a great accomodation and retreat, every time we visit Saskatoon. In spite of the ongoing renovations, our stay was, exceptional!!
Disliked: Nothing to comment about here.

Liked: We enjoyed the staff.
Disliked: We had an awful room I don’t know why they’re even letting guests stay in one that bad. We stayed here once last year and enjoyed it so we came back, the lobby had construction and we couldn’t talk to the desk worker without yelling because of the drills. Our room had no dead bolt on it and looked like someone had just barged the down previous to that. The room was small and the bathroom was noisy with scorching hot water (actually burnt myself washing my hands the first time, the water steams!). The beds were clean and comfy and small. (We didn’t complain about the room because we arrived late and thought it wouldn’t be to bad but it’s a scary area deadbolts should be mandatory.

Disliked: Bathroom faucet has only hot water,no cold water.

Liked: It had a restaurant attached to it.
Disliked: There was no access to the front desk via phone in room or by text. The phone number online was head office. There were miniature bottles in the bathroom, unable to shower properly due to lack of shampoo/conditioner. No daily housekeeping. The hotel never printed off a receipt or emailed a copy.

Clean, reasonably priced.

Liked: Bed comfortable, pillows not so great thus a small complaint
Disliked: Pillow not good, lumpy for the flatter one, yuck . Better quality needed.
