Liked: I made sure to reserve a hotel with a pool, but the pool was closed. Big disappointment for the kids during the holidays. Plus, I asked from in the top levels with the best view for the fireworks, which cost me more, but we couldn't see anything from the room!! Money send right in the drain :(

Hotel was only good just...
Disliked: The hotel is outdated. The room looked old. We understand Quebec is French but the hotel is catering to international clients who don?t want to watch French channels. The TV shows were mauve. After leaving a Hilton hotel to go to the Sandman it was very disappointing.

Great hotel with an amazing...
Liked: The staff is highly professional, the room is very clean with a neutral but nice decor, the facilities are great, the location is perfect with a free parking and right beside the metro (1 minute walk), very close to downtown, and plenty of options nearby for services, the price is ok, the view from the room was amazing overlooking the cityscape,
Disliked: The restaurant/bar is closed during the Holidays, the pool was being renovated during my stay

Good hotel, close to Metro...
Liked: The restaurant was closed during the Christmas/New Year Holiday so cannot rate.
Disliked: The pool was closed for renovations which was annoying because that was part of the reason for the stay but really no big deal in the scheme of things.

A short but pleasant getaway.
Liked: I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet & the location by the metro station was very convenient.
Disliked: No bottle opener in the room so we called down to desk & were told that we'd have to come down & open each bottle @ the front. Once @ the desk we were told to go into the bar but the bartender was not impressed & looked @ us as if we were asking for something extraordinary. Finally went back to desk & a pleasant staff member provided us with an opener (that we couldn't take back to our room).
