Liked: It was beautiful we enjoyed the pool and being able to look out at the bay. And it’s quite serene surroundings
Disliked: The rooms felt too much like a hotel and less like a condominium. Also, the first room had a water leak in the bathroom and it smelled musty

Liked: The property was incredible! There were so many activities to keep the entire family busy! Our room had a wonderful view, it was clean, and a great size. Having the tram service to take us around the property was a great surprise. Next time we will splurge and get a golf cart! The restaurants on property were great, the pool side bar drinks were top notch, the beach chairs and umbrellas were a wonderful touch. We will absolutely be back and will bring our entire family!
Disliked: Our buildings pool was closed for renovation which was totally fine because we had the other pool right next to it. However, that pool was VERY overcrowded even with the pool attendant there. Upon check-in your are provided wrist bands and told to wear them the entire time you are on property. Out of the 100+ people that were at the pool one of the days we were there I counted maybe 5-10 people actually wearing the wrist bands. It was hard to believe that everyone in the pool that day was actually staying on the property. Don't get me wrong though....we were on vacation and didn't really care but it would have been nice to not have wait on people to get out of the pool so we could get in. Also, on check out day be preparred to wait on the elevators or wake up earlier to beat the crowd. We stayed on the 10th floor (out of at least 15 floors) so lugging luggage down the stairs would have sucked. I had to wait for 6 different elevators to come until I could get on one since we had a wagon full of stuff.

Liked: The Luau 2 hotel was very close to the beach. The tram system throughout the whole area is very nice!

Liked: The property was well maintained and clean. The location was excellent. I didn’t realize it was such a large resort complex but it was easily navigable with nice walking trails.
Disliked: I had reserved a larger room with a balcony that the resort didn’t have any record of. They were able to locate one but when we entered the balcony was locked and taped shut due to renovations. The gym and one pool were also closed. We weren’t aware of the construction taking place. We went back to the desk (very large resort) and the agent tried her best to find a comparable room but after literally several hours we ended up paying an extra $670 for 3 nights. The room was lovely but that was a significant unexpected expense.
