Sandcastle Resort

I really enjoyed my stay at this Best Western. The staff was great; the food was good and the hotel itself was very clean and lived up to my expectations!

Liked: Restaurant; beach access, The views.
Disliked: The elevators shook a bit going up, but wasn't really a big deal. The parking garage tops out at 6'2" - had to park across the street and walk, which was fine.

Liked: Great hotel; very clean; great staff.

The room was excellent and extremely clean. There were plenty of fresh clean towels for everyone and the staff was super nice. The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was all well worth the price of the room. The only problem we had was that we were unable to eat breakfast there because the breakfast line was extremely long due to the hotel being filled with cheerleaders there for nationals which also made the pool not an option because of crowding.

Liked: Location was great. Hotel was nice. The balcony was perfect. The staff was professional.
Disliked: Our door felt broke, like it didn't want to lock. We just secured it with the top lock.

Liked: Close to the beach and to other attractions like the acquarium, convenient parking at floor level, quiet, and a reasonable breakfast with a full view of the ocean
Disliked: Small heavy doors and the room was relatively small by today's standards, an older facility starting to show its age, and the bathroom door couldn't be opened if someone was at the sink just outside it

Liked: The hotel had a pool and 2 restaurants. The location was was good.
Disliked: Breakfast could have had a better selection and one of the elevators went out of order which was worrisome.

Horrific

Liked: Right out of the gate we needed to switch room because the one was assigned to us had bathroom issue, and AC didn’t work. Even after the switch it was a Terrible stay, extremely dirty rooms, bugs were in the closet, made the GM aware who called me a liar and said there wasn’t anything there and didn’t even come up to even check. Never staying here again.
