Sandcastle Resort

I really enjoyed my stay at this Best Western. The staff was great; the food was good and the hotel itself was very clean and lived up to my expectations!

Liked: Restaurant; beach access, The views.
Disliked: The elevators shook a bit going up, but wasn't really a big deal. The parking garage tops out at 6'2" - had to park across the street and walk, which was fine.

Liked: Great hotel; very clean; great staff.

The room was excellent and extremely clean. There were plenty of fresh clean towels for everyone and the staff was super nice. The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was all well worth the price of the room. The only problem we had was that we were unable to eat breakfast there because the breakfast line was extremely long due to the hotel being filled with cheerleaders there for nationals which also made the pool not an option because of crowding.

Good

Liked: It was close to everything. The staff was nice at the front desk.
Disliked: The people in the cafeteria were crazy. The whole ticket thing they take seriously. If it was some great breakfast, I could see, but dang a little too far

Exceptional

Overall we had a good...

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and was nice to be able to go out on our balcony and listen to the ocean.
Disliked: I wish they offered more at breakfast but we made due with what was available. The elevators were a little scary to ride.

Sandcastle Resort - NOT a...

Liked: Front Desk staff were great as well as house cleaning staff.
Disliked: Breakfast is mainly a grab and go item like fruit, muffins, yogurt, bagels, juice, coffee, and water.

Sandcastle Resort

Liked: The location was the only good thing about this stay. Elevator wait was ridiculous, the staff isn't friendly at all (I really don't think they know what a smile is), the bathtub drained so slow like there was a clog somewhere, and the beds are hard as a rock. People go on vacation to have a stress free time and enjoy themselves and this place needs to realize this. I recommend you not waste your time or your money here and go to The Oceanfront....they are soooo polite, courteous, clean, and stress free atmosphere.
