A convenient and comfortable hotel

Liked: Excellent location and a really nice environment. Everything was smart, clean and tidy and the room was very comfortable indeed
Disliked: Nice though everything was I struggle to see that £399 for a night was value for money. Admittedly we were there for a wedding and so possibly didn't make full use of the hotel but it did feel like an awfully large amount of money.

Liked: Comfortable and very welcoming
Disliked: After leaving the hotel you turn right onto a short road to the main road which is incredibly busy at any time of day, turning right is almost impossible with the speed and volume of traffic, so you have to go left and then try and do a right turn and loop round to double back. It feels more than a bit dangerous, but guess there is nothing that the hotel can do about it.

Lovely relaxing and peaceful stay.

Liked: Lovely hotel - spacious rooms, peaceful. Friendly staff. We liked the design and style of the buildings. The restaurant was equally good. Very handy for York.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like.
