A very pleasant motel with...

Liked: The motel was clean and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. Each main floor room that I saw had sliding doors out onto a lawn overlooking the water. The upper levels had balconies looking over the water. I requested a main level room as I have mobility challenges and this was arranged. The staff were very friendly and recommended several nice restaurants.

Disliked: Check out is at 10 but the staff was patient and gave a us a little time.

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Our group had 3 rooms. All of the rooms had issues. 1 room had the shower door come off that staff had to put back in. 2 of the rooms had very sticky (old) door locks that were sometimes tricky to unlock and get in. My room had the handle on the sink in the bathroom that came off a few times. While the rooms appeared to have had partial renovations done, it was done with low cost materials. The staff could have been a little more accommodating.

Liked: The location was perfect
Disliked: The whole property needs a refresh. The towels were old and thread bare. Our door looked like it had been kicked in and was repaired poorly. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property.

Disliked: The water should have been run on all the taps prior to the start up of the season and bottled drinking water should have been provided.

Liked: the front desk clerk (afternoon and eve) and the balconey
Disliked: the overwhelming bleach smell in the room; the bathroom door wouldn't close without a lot of fiddling; the shower door only stayed close with a towel pushed between the two panes; the weird little note stuck under the car windshield wiper because i was apparently parked too far forward.
