Very basic but quiet

Liked: Love the location and it was very quiet
Disliked: Bare bones basic. Not even a toaster or bathtub, the hot water came from Oregon it took so long, And the coffee available did not taste like coffee - at all. The light switch on the lamp by the bed was tricky and didn't feel safe.

Stay was pleasant

Liked: The kitchen was old, but functional, the bed was comfortable, location was amazing, we sat outside in the provided chairs watching the sea lions.
Disliked: The only real disappointment was the size of the TV. Saying it was small is an understatement, I honestly didn't realize they made TVs that small still

Liked: Great view and nice room
Disliked: Staff was very rude. I have a service dog for PTSD as a retired firefighter and was told that's not a real thing and the service dog was a fake need. Then proceeded to insult me and swore as she walked away. Left halfway through our stay

Great location on the beach

Liked: Awesome location on the beach. We enjoyed beach-combing steps away from our room. Fabulous sunsets
Disliked: The hot water tank was so far away it took 5 minutes to reach our suite but it was very hot when it finally got going.

Excellent value with great views...

Liked: Super location. We were upgraded to a room with great ocean view and sunny afternoon patio. We loved sitting out in the sun listening to the waves. Very spacious room. Great to have kitchen facilities. Excellent value for what we paid.
Disliked: It took a long time for the hot water to get hot. No big deal just had to wait awhile befor showering.

Great location,. Building needs major...

Liked: The sound of the waves.
Disliked: The end of the outside stair was blocked off by poorly boarded up wooden slats. On the other side of it was the end of the stairway hanging precariously over the ocean. There was a storm in 2022, according to a note you receive once you book. Therefore you cannot walk on the rocks leading to the beach. So limited access to the beach from the property. The bathroom has no heating. The manager's approach was unnecessarily aggressive; this made our stay unpleasant. Disappointing.
