EVERYYYYTHING was superb!!

Liked: EVERYYYYTHING was splendid. First of all, Chris, the innkeeper, is a ray of welcoming sunshine. Second, the breakfasts were amazing & delicious! They were not standard by any means, & we looked forward to breakfast. Third, the amenities are so thoughtful: tea time; leftover treats from breakfast or tea time get wrapped up & come in handy for hikes; cleanliness; the outdoor facility; & live music. The property is convenient, & we enjoyed our morning & evening walks into central Bar Harbor for dinner & lunch. BTW, don’t be put off by the 2 rooms that have detached bathrooms. The bathroom is still private. It’s just across the hall from the room, & in fact, I loved that our detached bathroom had this wonderful separate sitting area with a couch. It came in handy when one of us was napping or sleeping in—the other went into the sitting area to read. My only complaint is that we did not stay long enough! I can’t wait to return.

Liked: Always my favorite in Bar Harbor! Chris is fantastic, rooms are wonderful and you are in walking distance of everything you need in Bar Harbor. I highly recommend!

We can not wait to...

Liked: Absolutely everything! The breakfast and staff were beyond our expectations. Our room was so comfortable and cozy and beautiful bathroom as well. The bed and pillows were cotton and linen. They even had live music one night. Loved it! The host, Chris was fantastic.
Disliked: Nothing at all. Everything was perfect.

A delightful Bed and breakfast...

Disliked: The bathroom for our room was detached . More than that I think a small upgrade in the fixtures would make a huge improvement.

Had a wonderful time and...

Liked: We stayed at this charming inn for three nights and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the place had an incredibly warm and homey vibe that made us feel instantly comfortable and relaxed. The daily breakfast was absolutely amazing. Each morning we were offered something fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. Another lovely touch was the afternoon tea service at 3:00 p.m., complete with a delightful spread of cakes, cookies, and of course, tea. In the mornings we would grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee from the inn, and walk across the sandbar — accessible only when the tide was out. The location of the inn is also ideal. It’s just a short walk to downtown Bar Harbor, so we could easily explore shops, restaurants, and the waterfront without ever needing to drive. At the same time, it’s nestled on a quiet side street, providing a peaceful and relaxing retreat after a day of adventuring.All in all, this inn offers the perfect balance of comfort, charm, and convenience.
Disliked: Nothing but I would mention that there is no elevator so the stairs would be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Lovely property, friendly staff, a...

Liked: Coffee is available starting at 5:30 am, great for us early risers. Breakfast began at 8 and included a sweet bread to start, then a choice of either a sweet or savory entree.
Disliked: The property was *a bit* pricey for the experience...but then again, it's Bar Harbor in the summer. I'd still do it again!
