Superb

Liked: The hotel building has a very interesting history. Lots of old features and interesting curios to discover and read about. A beautiful rooftop area with a pool, a restaurant and fantastic views of the city and port areas. We were able to get late checkout. The receptionists and porters were pleasant and informative. The hotel is very close to the Spanish Quarter which is a really vibrant and interesting area. Lots of steps to climb to get back to the hotel though. We loved our stay here.
Disliked: Noisy air conditioning.

Beautiful old building, great views...

Liked: Great location, lovely old building with comfortable rooms and facilities. Buffet breakfast is served in the beautiful restaurant overlooking Napoli and Vesuvius - great way to start the day!
Disliked: We had a standard room on 4th floor (same floor as main restaurant) and heard a lot of hallway noise which seemed to be amplified (perhaps because of the building design?).

A beautifully decorated hotel, with...

Liked: The hotel itself is amazing. The style of the hotel is beautiful, with it being an old monastery. You could get lost exploring the property. The rooftop and the pool are also very nice. Booking says you have to pay extra, but this isn’t the case. The room we stayed in was also beautiful, with a lot of space, a big bathroom and a view of the Vesuvius. The breakfast was also good, with a variety of pastries, bread, fruit, yoghurts and savory items like eggs and sausage. They also have fresh juice and the staff can make the coffee you like. The hotel itself is on a hill, so the climb from the city centre can be a bit tiring, but this was something we knew so we were prepared. You can also take the cable car up and down to the centre and back, with the stop being 6 minutes away from the hotel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!!
Disliked: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The only thing we were a bit bummed about was that the pool closes at 5 every day.
