Disliked: Could have maybe done with a small ledge in the shower when using own soap

Liked: Parking and location
Disliked: Whilst the room has recently been refurbished the furniture is really old and not in keeping with the room decor. A/c has been fitted but even turned off it still emits a sound like someone snoring next door, really strange. Breakfast is really confusing, it says continental or full English. There is no cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries or cold meats as there has been in the past. One toaster worked the other wasn’t but bizarrely was just left there rather than taken away so guests were trying to use it and then were frustrated when they found that it didn’t work.

Room with a view

Liked: The room facing the ocean with the 4 poster bed was incredible. The balcony is enclosed and we watched the sunrise. Great location, not too close to the centre but only 10 minutes to walk to the harbour.The staff were incredible and friendly. Free parking behind the hotel or on street parking at front. Always a bonus.
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit basic, standard hot tray offerings. No fruit or yoghurt. Muesli, Weetabix or cornflakes are the only cereals.The bedroom lights were way too intense, bright white LED with no way to dim.

Exceptional

Hotel was ok, pleasant, nothing...

Liked: I liked the room size, for a single room there was enough space & the bathroom & shower were fine, plus there was a big television in the room.
Disliked: Didn't like that it was a buffet style breakfast. The eggs I had on the first morning were fried & not fresh looking & there was no option to have poached eggs.

Great overnight stay with sea...

Liked: room was clean and night staff polite and friendly when we returned back after 11pm. The breakfast buffet was well stocked
Disliked: Maybe more fresh fruit for breakfast

Good

Liked: Great location. It was nice to be able to park in the car park. The reception staff were excellent. It was nice that breakfast was included.
Disliked: It's a shame that only people with money can afford the executive rooms & those without money get a view of the car park.

Superb

Liked: I absolutely loved this hotel. I only stayed here because I was going to something in Margate and Margate had no accommodation available. I am so glad that I did! I hope to stay here again!
