Perfect for our needs

Liked: Great location, great staff.
Disliked: Room a little tired. No way of drying our shoes after the heavens opened. Air con in foreign?

Great location

Liked: Clean, comfy room. Slept very well. Great sea view. Breakfast was very good - cooked or continental, plenty choice.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: The coffee tasted like cleaning-solution, awful.The room smelled musty, had to open all windows to get rid of the smell.

Liked: The view from the hotel room we had. This wasn't our choice but because my friend is partially sighted and there was no mention of stairs down to our twin room that she couldn't of managed. I saw there was a lift when I booked so thought that will be fine. We were then charged another £40 to change rooms for another so called executive room because we asked for singles. But it was near the theatre and town and harbour so a bit of a bonus.
Disliked: The lad on reception was great, and so was the Indian lady we gave her a tip. Nothing was too much trouble. But my friend was ill on Sunday night, and we wound up in Deal Hospital on the Monday she didn't want to travel back till meds had kicked in. So no room service, a manager who came up to tell us they were trying to get hold of us on the hotel phone to say the food was ready.. But here's the thing she didn't attempt to bring anything up to help me. So, two trips later for the trays of food that are massively over portioned. We ordered a prawn cocktail, and each. The prawns were hard, with loads of brown bread and salad. The menu online had not been changed, so no boiled potatoes and salmon for me then. Massively fat oven chips and loads of them. Would I recommend this hotel not really! My friend is in hospital here now she has a severe infection.

Disliked: Hotel is very far from beach as though it looks next to beach it's atleast 8 floors walk on stairs to reach the beach We had booked 2 rooms and both rooms were given on different floors

Never really felt welcome

Liked: Our room was gorgeous - lots of space with a sea view. The housekeeping and maintence staff were very friendly. Liked that it had a lift and we didn't have to haul our bags up the stairs. Beach across the road and easy walk into town.
Disliked: Reception staff unfriendly and come across as disinterested. No 'welcome' recieved when we arrived and when we asked about the services mentioned on their website we were told to 'call them directly'. No 'thank you' or enquiry about our stay when we departed. We also left something in the room and realised a few hours later. We contacted them and did not receive a reply. Breakfast was confusing and what was provided was inconsistent between tables. Mattress comfortable, but bed frame very squeaky.
