Liked: Overall it was alright staying at the hostel. I had booked a 6-bed dormitory room, with a bathroom and a fridge in the room. The bathroom was always kept very clean. The room and the rest areas not that much, they could definitely use a wipe. The kitchen is well equipped for own use, and was kept in a good condition. They have always free coffee, tea, water, and hot chocolate. Besides my negatives listed below, I would probably still stay here again!
Disliked: The room was in the basement, which I would have liked to know in advance! However, it had a good window and the air was always relatively fresh. The breakfast was okayish -besides Philadelphia spread, everything else was sweet - cereal, bagel bread, toast bread, muffins and pancakes, along with spreads of nutella, marmelade, maple syrop and others. It also offered apples and oranges. I would have loved to have some savoury options like tomatoes/ cucumber/ cheese/ eggs/ etc. The place is also very close to a big homeless and drug area, which can be uncomfortable sometimes especially at night. I was trying to avoid going back home from that street and was making a detour from the street across.

Disliked: The private room with 2 beds is located in the basement. Not much ventilation and the smell of mold made my friend who has asthma had to cut her trip short. We asked for another room, and they said that was the only room with 2 beds. Floor was dirty and too much dust. The staff is nice and very helpful. Breakfast didn't have much available for people with gluten and lactose intolerance.

Liked: It is downtown. I parked the car day 1 and got it the last day of the journey. Everything is reachable by walk
