mediocre, the bedroom experience was...
Liked: Staff was friendly. The location amazing.
Disliked: The room. My bed was dirty. First I put mi stuff in one bed, when I arrived later, somebody has moved them. At 3 am arrived a roommate, drunk , singning, snoring , burping beeing super noisy and did not react after I ask him to please calm down and be quiet. Coulnd{t sleep. Also, as I had to leave early, there was no option to have breakfast.

Good
Liked: The staff is always helpful, freindly and professional. Great location.
Disliked: Is seems like the prices are creeping up although it may be a seasonal bump up (August). There are amenities that are missing such as disposable glasses for brushing your teeth, facial tissues that are supplied in most in comparable stays especially at the newer prices. This room (first floor) is noisier than the second floor (clunking noises early and late from the guest kitchen area).

Good
Liked: Excellent location with very friendly staff. Nice common area with tables, outlets, couches and a bar. Very walkable to main parts of old Montreal.
Disliked: Shared bathroom needing updating and deep cleaning. Overall a good stay, facilities could use some updating and touch ups. Road was under construction, so parking was unavailable on the street. There was an underground parking garage very close by. Leaving car parked for 1.5 days cost $60.

Good motel for shared rooms...
Liked: Location and staff.
Disliked: I rented a room with a private bathroom, which included a hot tub and a shower screwed (fixed) over its ledge with very low water pressure. The water just dripped over the ledge, and you had to crouch or sit on it so you could get some water. This could have been solved with a new shower with a removable head, but it was clear to me that the management was being cheap (again, shower head screwed to wall fixture). Then we were moved to a similar room with a working shower but with a toilet room so narrow that my shoulders touch both walls when sat on it. A common denominator in both bathrooms was the lack of safety since both showers were on an elevated platform with steps made with very slippery tiles, especially when wet, with no safety bars or antislip cover.
