Exceptional

Liked: It's located right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and lots of things to see and do. I also like the fact that each bed has curtains that you can pull all the way around it for your own privacy.
Disliked: The steep stairs you have to climb when you come inside the building.

Affordable basic hostel

Liked: The location, how affordable it is, complimentary continental breakfast. Free bagels and cream cheese, coffee, tea, the juiciest oranges. I felt really safe bc you have to buzz to get let in. Staff will look at the video camera in order to let you in.
Disliked: The room that I was staying in had a broken air conditioner which made the room stuffy. There is a lot of stairs. During quiet hour (midnight to 7 am) You are expected to go into your room or if you are lucky you might have a spot to sit on a 2 seater couch upstairs. Only 1 private shower/bathroom. So if you are having a shower in the communal area you can see the shapes of people's bodies through the glass doors (made me uncomfortable to know that others can see me as I have a shower)

Great place to stay for...

Liked: great location, room and open areas cleaned everyday. Included breakfast was good. Only thing that could make it the perfect place to stay is the stairs up to the hostel. Maybe the chance of a lift or luggage lift in the future. Staff were excellent and very helpful.
Disliked: stairs up to the rooms for luggage.
