Disliked: One obstructive staff member in evening restaurant. We were an inconvenience.

Liked: Very high standards of care and maintenance. A friendly hotel in a brilliant location.
Disliked: Parking needs better organisation and more spaces available locally. Expensive but premium service and facilities.

A very pleasant experience.

Liked: As my visit was planned to coincide with my working in the Record Office in connection with a forthcoming book, the location was both very convenient and very attractive. The staff were very helpful as my bank a/c had just been hacked and my bank card wasn't working.
Disliked: I have to say the decor is rather odd ... eclectic and no apparent theme!
