We coudln't have been better...
Liked: Super comfy bed, wonderful accommodating and entertaining hosts, first class breakfast made to order, beautiful grounds and view of Camber and a short walk in to Rye
Disliked: Saltcote Place is a wonderful experience but not a hotel in the traditional sense. No restuarant or bar/lounge etc. The whole experience from arrival through to breakfast and departure is much like being a guest in someones home (which you are). If you are up for a chatty sociable experience it's loads of fun but if you are looking for an intimate getaway then it might not be for you. We loved hanging out with both Paul and Alan but thought it might be worth noting as we did think it was a hotel when we booked.

Beautiful and relaxing stay
Liked: We had the most wonderful stay at Saltcote Place. The house and grounds are beautiful with so much character. The rooms are so tastefully decorated and nothing is too much trouble for Paul and Alan. They are wonderful hosts and Alan’s breakfasts are exquisite! An absolute treat to stay for a few days.

Felt very spoilt.
Liked: Everything was perfect. The hosts made our stay so special, and nothing was too much trouble. We could walk to Rye and also enjoyed the walk to Camber.
