A great location for visiting...

Liked: This hotel is in a quiet spot, conveniently close to the University hospitals. There are really no restaurants nearby, but the hotel has a lovely bar/grill and a breakfast restaurant, as well as a Starbucks on site.
Disliked: There’s a fee for parking, which didn’t seem necessary. The shower nozzle was sticky and I had trouble turning it on. I would avoid the complimentary lotion and shower gel, as the scent was not pleasant.

Liked: We had a reservation for 3/8-3/14 for my son to have brain surgery in town. We ended up coming a day earlier due to another appointment. I paid for my 3/7 stay before hand on booking.com and then around the 10th I got charged by the Marriot as well. That got resolved. We then ended up checking out on the 10th around 4:00pm to stay at the Ronald McDonald house. Apparently they never checked us out of the system. On 3/14 we got charged for the whole stay. I declined the charges and spoke with booking.com customer service and spoke with the hotel who wasn’t much help that day. Around the 17th we got charged $501 so I assumed that was the corrected amount for the 8th 9th and 10th. On March 26th they hit my account again for $665. After calling a few times and finally speaking with the manager Kari the issue got resolved and I got refunded the $665. (They said 7-10business days for a refund so I haven’t seen it yet) hopefully I don’t have to call back again. With all the other stress I had of my son having brain surgery, this is not something I thought I’d be fighting weeks later.
