We really enjoyed our stay and the rooms were very clean; everything was close to the hotel.
Liked: Clean rooms.
Disliked: Not much to pick on the menu from the restaurant.

We were pleased from our first approach with the valet service. Then the front desk staff was amazing, rooms fantastic and the restaurant inside the hotel has great food. Whenever I visit Milwaukee again I will definitely be staying at the Intercontinental Hotel.
Liked: Everything about this hotel is great.
Disliked: Nothing.

Passable
Disliked: We requested our bags to be put in our room when the room is ready and that was at 12 noon we checked in at 12 midnight went to our room and our bags weren’t there. This did not make our trip memorable.

A great find that lives...
Liked: I had a suite, which I did not expect. In the front room there was an old-time Victrola with instructions for using it,, plus 78 rpms in the bedroom. In the bedroom there was also a little red guitar. The artwork on the walls in both rooms was unusual and good--so truly an Arts Hotel. A great bar downstairs too! And excellent service everywhere.

Loved this unique hotel!
Liked: Amazing hotel with multiple art galleries and original art in each room. Our room had a ukelele (with a card showing chords for Over the Rainbow) and a record player with a handful or records (and more available in the lobby) along with very comfortable bed, comfortable and attractive chairs, and nice bathroom with upscaled fixtures. Absolutely loved this place!! Live music in the lobby, lively environment, and free glass of champagne on arrival.
Disliked: Everything was great. Would definitely return!

Liked: The location and the art throughout. Excellent breakfast too! Super nice staff.
Disliked: I thought my room could have been better cleaned. I was walking barefoot and stepped on crumbs that were from previous guest. The robe seemed dingy and some slippers would have been nice. The soap dish had some funky residue and needed to be washed properly. The glass I used wasn’t washed or replaced with a clean one. Did not care for the sheets that were not fitted to the mattress and came loose and off. At this price point the details matter.

Stupendous!
Liked: The rooms have a theme. Ours was music. There was a tub tile and a bathroom sink decoration. Both music inspired. An original painting hung on the wall of musicians. There were records from the 50s and 60s, and a record player. There was a guitar/ukulele in the room on a stand to play. A valid blackout shade to keep the room dark on the window. There were books to read on music, the area, and the Bauhaus Art movement. The lobby featured sculptures, an art gallery, a bar, live music, and an artist-in-residence program. The employees were helpful, often assisting—a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. Not to mention great food, especially the desserts. Outstanding. They went out of their way to park my large, oversized, handicapped vehicle. Five stars...Even ten.
Disliked: Not a thing.
